Enjoy a relaxed day of scenic driving, beautiful landscapes, and wide-ranging views on this small-group experience through the hinterland northwest of Brisbane. You will travel in a spacious, air-conditioned vehicle with easy access and comfortable seating. This ensures a smooth and enjoyable journey throughout the day. The tour is designed for travellers who prefer minimal walking but still want to experience nature and scenery. It offers a comfortable, rewarding way to explore the region.
After pick-up, we travel up Mount Glorious into D’Aguilar National Park, where the landscape quickly transforms into cool, lush subtropical rainforest. Along the way, we stop at scenic lookouts including the Western Window and Wivenhoe Outlook. These spots offer sweeping views across forested valleys and towards Lake Wivenhoe.
Leaving the rainforest, the scenery gradually opens up into rolling farmland and quiet rural landscapes. This contrast between dense forest and wide-open spaces shows the diversity of South East Queensland’s hinterland.
We continue to Somerset Dam for a relaxed tea break by the water. With expansive views across the dam and surrounding hills, this is a peaceful place to rest and enjoy the surroundings.
In the afternoon, we travel via Kilcoy to Mount Archer. There we can visit Ocean View Estates for lunch and wine tasting. Set among rolling hills, this boutique winery offers a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views. It makes a memorable stop for those who wish to participate.
The journey continues along quiet country roads towards Mount Mee. We pass through green hills, grazing cattle, and scattered old trees. At our final lookout, take in panoramic views across the landscape towards the iconic Glass House Mountains.
We return via the charming township of Dayboro, bringing the day to a close with a sense of calm and connection to the landscape. This tour is defined by comfort, variety, and carefully chosen viewpoints, offering a rich and rewarding experience without long walks.

The wine tasting costs 20AUD per person.
