Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve was fantastic as well, which I would not have been able to visit otherwise. Anita was a good source of information culture and nature-wise. I would definitely book again if I can make it back!

Anita has superb knowledge of the area and access to locations that you can’t normally get to. The tour was tailored around our restricted walking abilities and the recent weather, which made sure we could both had a lot to look at. Which included a lot of trees, birds, fungi, mist obscured mountains, pademelons, an informative visitor’s centre and two dogs that were very disappointed that we weren’t staying around longer.

We were fortunate to spend three exceptional days with Anita, on a wonderfully well-organized tour. Thanks to her extensive naturalist knowledge, we were able to observe the flora and fauna in their natural habitat, without ever disturbing them. Each area we crossed was presented with clarity and passion, which allowed us to better understand the local ecosystems.
The vehicles used are perfectly suited to the various excursions, including 4x4s when necessary. Safety is always taken into account, with precise explanations of potential risks and the instructions to follow.
I would also like to highlight Anita’s friendliness and infectious enthusiasm, which greatly contributed to the quality of our experience.
A big thank you also to David for his personalized welcome to his estate. Despite the language barrier, he generously showed us the small botanical details of his land. Bravo for his commitment to the environment and biodiversity.
Finally, Anita was a great help with the German translation, as we have great difficulty with English. She also arranged our return transfer between the airport and the hotel, despite the access constraints.
Impeccable organization, a respectful approach to nature, and passionate people: we recommend them without hesitation.

We had a wonderful tour with Anita. She picked us up at the cruise port, we had a great tour of Stradbroke Island, and then she dropped us off at the airport. We saw wonderful views on our walk along the ocean, ate a yummy prawn/shrimp roll by Brown Lake, and Anita provided some tea/coffee and some snacks (lunch was on our own but the place Anita recommended for take away sandwich to eat at the lake was top notch!!). Anita also spotted a kangaroo family and a Koala on the way back to the ferry. It was so nice to see them in their natural habitat!! I would highly recommend this tour!

We had a great experience with Anita showing us the wildlife, natural phenomena, and coastal neighborhoods in the area north of Brisbane. Conditions were less than ideal after quite heavy recent rains but four kangaroos showed up for us. Anita pointed out numerous birds and also discussed the aquatic fauna. She spoke of the beneficial properties of the three types of mangroves. We had a pleasant drive through Brighton, Margate, and Redcliffe and a very casual lunch in a bakery cafe. Anita is very personable and attuned to the desires of her clients. We would only have wished for a little more legroom in the Nissan! Great tour and we highly recommend it.

I went on the Bribie Island Birdlife tour with Anita and had a fabulous day she took me to so many wonderful spots and I was able to see some migratory waders and many resident birds we were fortunate to see a Pied Oyster Catcher nesting and some Whimbels. I went on a tour (Bribie Island) with Anita/Brisbane Nature tours and had a wonderful day. She is very knowledgeable about animals, plants, and history of the area. The car was clean and very comfortable, and the lunch spot had many varied options. The highlights of the day were birds that I had never seen such as rainbow bee eater and yellow robin, besides a sea eagle. We enjoyed watching a juvenile gannet catch and then try to eat a small fish. I would absolutely book with this company again. She’s very willing to email and interact about details to make the trip work well.

We will be picked up by Anita at our hotel in Brisbane CBD on time for our tour to North Stradbroke Island. The crossing to the island goes smoothly.
We have a lot planned on the island. We visit the gallery of a local artist who works with natural materials and traditional patterns and colors. Pictures, clothes and jewelry impress. The program then includes: a freshwater spring with water colored brown by the tea tree, a circular walk along the coast at Point Lookout with fantastic views, lunch at the Blue Room Café (very tasty), a stop at Amity Point and Brown Lake with a coffee break. We see koalas high in the trees, goannas looking for food at a barbecue, kangaroos grazing, frogs both large and super tiny, scribbling trees whose bark is covered by moths with patterns that resemble handwriting, lots of birds, Beetles, impressive rocks and overall an island where you can certainly spend a lot more time than the few hours we have there. In any case, we have a lot of fun with Anita and can learn a lot from her about the island, its inhabitants, flora and fauna.

Brisbane Nature tours exceeded expectations and was truly a highlight of our South East Queensland vacation. We had an incredible adventure on the Bellthorpe Rainforest Tour.
The pick up & drop off was incredibly convenient. Our guide (Anita) was beyond Amazing, giving us loads of information & pointing out sights we would have missed along the way. Having access to Bellthrope Stays was a magical experience as we had a chance to venture deep inside the rainforest with the two resident doggy’s. We also learned about the surrounding nature allowing us to have a more meaningful experience.
Mary Cairncross Reserve was the perfect end to a perfect day. We were able to spot many pademelons along the walking track and enjoyed a delicious lunch at the cafe with uninterrupted views of the Glasshouse Mountains. I’ll definitely be looking to book more Adventures with Brisbane Nature Tours on my next Australian holiday.

We took the Mt.Glorious to Mt.Mee tour and had the most Amazing time with Anita who runs Brisbane Nature tours. We stopped at some spectacular lookout points in and around the subtropical mountain communities, with breathtaking views of the glasshouse mountains, rainforest, and dam. Afterwards we proceeded though remote countryside farmland and onwards to eat lunch at a simply stunning winery, which was the best end to an incredible day. Australia is a very large land mass, so it was very difficult to tour the rainforest without a guide, but I went there because I had a good experience at Airbnb. The Myala Rainforest was a very well-maintained place. Go to Sandgate Station and your guide, Anita, will be waiting for you in the car. I was able to go to the mountain chatting, meet various animals and insects in the mountain, and learn related knowledge. If you want to safely enjoy Mother Nature, which is very different from Korea, I highly recommend it!

Absolutely amazing!! I cant rate Anita and her company Brisbane Nature Tours highly enough. Anita is professional and organised. From the moment I booked she was in contact advising me of pick up times and information about the tour. She took care of everything from scheduling travel to toilet breaks, providing lunch and giving me time to rest and soak it all in. I loved the fact that this was a personal tour and I was able to walk through the rainforest at my own pace, exploring and asking questions along the way. Anita pointed out many fascinating and some hidden sights. Anita is a down to earth, passionate and knowledgeable guide. You couldn’t ask for more. I only wish I had more time in Brisbane to go on one of her other tours. Thank you for an amazing and memorable day out in nature.

My husband and I love to be out in nature, have our own hiking group in the United States, and dislike typical tourist tours. We hired a great guide in Brisbane for several days in 2018. Something we ran out of time to do on that trip was North Stradbroke Island. We decided to return to the area only to find that the guide had retired, so I had been on the search for another guide. I came across Anita online and after chatting knew that we would get along well and she would do things that we like to do. She suggested Maiala Rainforest as well and it was an absolutely wonderful hike. She is very prepared and has a lot of passion for and knowledge of the areas she does tours in. It turns out that her tours were the highlight of our 1.5-month trip and we would highly recommend Brisbane Nature Tours.

Today I had the pleasure of exploring some lovely natural areas with Anita on the Kangaroos, Mangroves and the Ocean Tour. We saw many birds, kangaroos and some excellent scenery. I enjoyed the natural history information Anita shared, the areas she drove us through to get to all the spots, and the fact that she adjusted our activities to meet our needs and interests. I would absolutely recommend doing a tour with Anita.
